BRISTOL MOUNTAIN, NY — I realized I forgot my ski jacket just as I was about to head to the lodge to put on my ski boots. Tonight was not the ideal night to ski jacketless. A brisk breeze chilled me on each lift ride, especially near the summit where air rushes across the broad, flat summit of Bristol Mountain.

BRISTOL MOUNTAIN, NY — I picked up my pass at Bristol's office, changed out of my work "gear" and into my ski gear, and hit the slopes for the first time this season.
