Long Drive to Yellowstone

- Packed up the car fairly quickly in the morning and left for Yellowstone
- Stopped in Kalispell to pick up some supplies
- The weather wasn't all that great on this day and a hailstorm near Bozeman added to what would end up being an annoying/interesting day
- Drove to Yellowstone via Big Sky. Stopped in Big Sky to check out the resort and eat some dinner. Almost decided to stay in Big Sky, but I figured it was worth trying to drive to Yellowstone to find a campsite tonight.
- Arrived at Yellowstone to find that most of the campgrounds were full, except Mammoth and Lewis Lake. Headed to Mammoth only to find out that the campground was full by the time we arrived. Hotels in Gardiner, the small town right outside the north entrance to Yellowstone were either booked or expensive, so we slept in the car. The lightning from a distant thunderstorm provided some entertainment as I tried to get some sleep. At some point in the middle of the night, that distant thunderstorm ended up making its way to us
