The Burg
October 10, 2008 — The Burg in Brugge, Belgium, with its Belfort seen in the background. On the far left side of the photo there is a darker building with gold adornments on its facade and a double-arched entrance. This entrance leads to the Basilica of the Holy Blood, which has a sacred vial that allegedly contains a cloth with the blood of Jesus Christ that the crusaders brought to Brugge in the 12th or 13th century.
